My new gelding! :)

So I've been looking for a new "everything" horse.. mostly for low level eventing. I have a perch/TB mare but she has a stifle injury that has retired her to flat work. She's living happily as a therapy horse right now. I also have my Trakehner filly but I won't be starting her until later this year.

But I found this gorgeous gelding, 12 yo 16.1 hh AQHA and he arrives at my barn on Friday! He is terribly muddy so forgive the mud, I swear he really is grey lol!

He's a total tank!! I've only seen QH's built like him a few times and I'll be honest they have definitely intimidated me. I can not wait to start working with him. He's been there, done that and has been great under saddle for me so far.

He hasn't ever evented but he has the basics and that's all I can ask for!

Here he is!!! (Sorry for the bad pics my phone was being weird)

Thank you :) we have a hot wash bay at the barn so he'll be getting a thorough grooming this weekend with better pictures to follow!

Congratulations! He is very handsome, love the color and his build. Good luck with him and make sure you post some photos once he arrives at your barn!
