She's lovely! Good luck on picking a name. It took me months to come to grips with Lillie's name because I didn't like it. It only took about two weeks to find a name for Lyric. If you don't like her name..change it. You could name her Thursday for the day you bring her home. What about Halloween/October/theme type names? I like odd, unique names. (which is probably why I didn't like Lillie at all.) Here are some I wrote down:

    Cider/Syder
    Cinder/Synder
    Karma
    Secret
    Pumpkin

I love the names of the Gods, (Aries, Aphrodite, Athena, and I LOVE this name Isis.)

Hope some of these help. Good luck!

Do you have any favorite movies or shows that you like the names out of?

    Oh wow good names!
I have a few that Im leaning towards.
    Piper
    Karma
And Tsima, which is Blackfoot for "Where to" Which is good for a horse :)

    Keep them coming guys!
I've decided that I am going to get her. I want a horse I can ride, and Savhanna is too much for me. So she will be mine tomorrow!
    Unique names are the best!

I really wanted to give Noah an Irish name (since I'm irish!) but couldn't find anything that fit. There seems to be a much better selection for girls! If there's a word in particular (pretty, lucky, friend, etc) that you like, you can look up the word in different languages for some unique ideas. I acutlly ended up with Noah because it means gentle and comforting.

    Thats a good idea!
That's what I like Tsima. Means where too. Kinda like she guides me, and I guide her, so we take care of eachother :)

I have a pet peave with people renaming their horses, but if it does happen I like to stick to something that goes with their show name. Sometimes when I read name plates at barns I visit I see alot of head scratchers, its like... how the heck did they come up with that?

    My mare: Lacys Corona... Lacy
My weanling: Sonny Side Up... Sonny

I took Paul's name and added a twist. As a teacher, normal names have a tendency to remind us of the poorly behaved students we have had in our classroom as did the name Paul. I said this students name so often during the school year it was crazy. So the husband and I loved the "soprano's" mini-series so we renamed Paul=Paulie Walnuts. He is one of the big Italian mobsters henchmen but it suits paul to a "T". He is big and bulky and doesn't let anyone push him around.

I got her today, and she is everything I expected! I got her papers, and I have her settling down into her stall. Her eyes definitely said "Where too??" I love her
