I don't think there is anything wrong with naming a horse. When I got Scout, his previous name was "Redford", lol, it TOTALLY didn't suit him at all!!!

Then with Halo, can you believe she was 2 yrs old and they didn't even have a name for her. I asked them what they called her, and they just said they never called her anything, I was like WOW, really???

Anyways, I really love Tsima, it really sounds unique and is very pretty. I also love the meaning. I can't wait to see pictures.

How do you pronounce it? and ps...SHE'S GORGEOUS!

Wow, she's pretty! I love her new name too!

I don't think there'sw anything wrong with changing a horses name.

When I got my mare, her name was 'Beamer', which totally did not suit her... My friend and I renamed her Gypsie, which suits her so much better...

Our old mare was 'Booger' when we bought her... we changed it to Buttercup and it suits her...

A mare we got from my cousin... when we got her, her name was Precious Angel (totally didn't suit her.. she was crazy and would injure people... totally disrespectful) and her foal that we also got was named Sweet Pea (didn't suit her either... she was trouble with a capital T) We renamed both of them... the mare became Ginger (she's sold now) and the filly's name changed to Lil Bit, to Trouble, and finally we settled on Nugget just last year.

cutters show name is BJ Honey Cut and he used to go by BJ, but i didnt like that, because people would tease him (for odvious reasons). so now hes just Cutter. maybe you could find something around her show name to turn into a barn name?
