So I'll have a new horse soon. Just waiting for the coggins test to come back to make sure it's negative. She literally has no name. When the vet came out to do the PPE and pull the coggins he asked me what her name was and I said "Errr she doesn't have one." Vet: "Well what should I put on the papers?" Me: "uhh just put mare."
I have a few names that I like but I can't seem to choose one.
She is a 2 year old QH mare. She is going to be a bright red chestnut come spring, right now she's got a winter coat so it looks like she's covered in a reddish soot haha. She has a gorgeously thick flaxen tail and a pulled flaxen mane(can't wait for it to grow out) She's the sweetest thing. Has TONS of spunk and is very intelligent. She's very, very curious(she played with a leaf in a puddle for about 15 mins straight, just pushing it around and watching it float then pushing it again.) When asked to focus it took her a little bit but she figured it out. Nice big stride, works really well off her hind end already and looks to be incredibly smooth. Also the ONLY white she has on her is a tiny white star.
I don't have any pictures of her yet but when I get some I'll definitely post them! Well actually I have 2 but they're not the best one is just a head shot the other is one and she started to try and walk away.
**Before you say anything about it not working out, both parties(me and them) + a witness on each side signed a paper stating that I give them half the asking amount and that she stays on their property while the coggins test is performed. If it comes back negative I can pay the other half and take her asap, if it comes back positive they give me back the half that I already paid.**
Here is my list of names, feel free to add any that aren't listed as I'm still looking for ideas. Which one's do you like best?
Caligo (mother of chaos)
(Harry potter kick begins)
(Harry potter kick ends)
Here are those pics I mentioned. She looks cowhocked in the one but believe me she's not (i've been out there to see her 3 times, once alone, once with my trainer, and once with the vet; vet says she's a nicely built little mare and should fill out nicely) she was trying to walk away and shifted her feet....again I'll get better pics once I move her to my place.
