    Need help with creative bandaging

We need help with creative bandaging for front leg wounds. A month ago, we had a trailer accident that left a horse with torn ligaments and damaged bursa in both front knees. Thankfully, he is healing well, no infection. The challenge we have is keeping his bangages for a 24 hour period. He sometimes chews on them, and sometime the weight of quilts and other materials slump down and expose his injury. This is in spite of many different combinations of double layers of cling gauze wrap, tons of Vetwrap, quilts, sanitary napkins, diapers cotton rolls, elastikon, human velcro sealed leg protectors (which he left alone for 3 days and then shredded to a million piece one night). The bandages are changed daily and need to provide cushion over the knee and be stiff enough to prevent him from bending his front legs and reopening the wound. Any creative ideas most welcome! We havde at least another month to go (he is confined to a small pen that allows limited movement and is a pretty laid back horse)

Have you tried putting something on the wraps so he can't chew them off? Like rap-last?

Try wrapping duct tape on the outside. Worked really well for my horse.

I would duct tape it and splint it with a paint-stir stick so he couldn't move it.
