Need ideas for our mares for the St. Patrick's Day parade... :D

My friend and I have beenn invited to ride our mares in the parade this year and we need ideas for how to dress them (and us!) up. I have a green headstall and saddle blanket and then I was thinking maybe green polos and a big green bow on her tail. Anyone have any more/any other ideas? Pictures? Any and all are appreciated! :)

Do you have a dollar store with that St. Patrick's day wire stuff? You could tie that into her mane and tail... We did that with red/white/blue star wire for the Fourth of July and it looked legit! =D

Can you get a hold of any of that "twinkle" glitter paint stuff? You could make shamrocks on their butts or something, that could be super cute!

That's a good idea about the wire stuff! I'm going to Goodwill today to look for something to wear so I could stop at the Dollar Store as well and see what I can find. I thought of the sparkle paint stuff, too, but then I thought... How easy would that be to get out of a winter coat?
