Need an opinion on this horse.

Ok well since im selling my horse i've started my search for a new horse.
I've found one that seems perfect and I just need to try her out.

    Serenity (Glorious Regent)
She is a 7 year old thoroughbred off the track a long time ago. She only raced in one race and didn't win. She is trained for Barrels and trail, they say she is good for both beginners and experianced riders and they want $800. She also has her number tatooed on her lip and she is micro- chipped. They are selling her for a cheap price since they lost her papers.

So do you think she sounds good? I just need some opinions. I want to try her out this weekend or sometime soon hopefully.

I don't have any good pictures but i'll try to get some soon.

With her being off the track and then trained for barrels, it kinda makes me question whether she would be good for a beginner or not. Most horses like that end up very hot and hard to handle. But then again, you can never really be sure until you try her out. She may be the most laid back and mellow horse out there. I think that 800 is not a bad price because you would be able to get her papers from the registry (probably). Especially if she is a broke as they claim. I would love some pix and let us know how it goes.

I have an ex-race horse and she is the sweetest, nice tempered well behaved, quiet, eager to please mare I have ever come across. We can be galloping out in the bush with another horse up our bum and she will always stop if I ask her to. Just thuoght i'd throw that in there to point out that all thoroughbreds / race horses aren''t crazy and hard too handle. Although many are I know. The only way to know is to try her out :)

    Good luck, be careful!!
