Needing help with indian paint markings

Me and my friends have been wanting to make the horses we work with into indian horses for dress up comps

We where wondering if anyone knew where to get a list of the paint markings indians would paint on to there horses and there meanings

We found some we want to know like the ones on these following images

We are allso wondering about feathers in manes, do they mean anything or is it just for show?
