YAY!!! Ok, so, I am violently pulling myself away from my own barn which starved my horses of grain over winter, left them with a known dangerous horse, then left in a pasture with bad fencing and wire on the ground (alot more happened than this, but it's at the VERY short story).
Now I am at a really 'rough' looking place that is in the process of growing. They are adding onto their barn as well as leveling out and sanding AND lighting an already established out door arena. (It currently currently has a few dips and while safe for an experianced rider and an experianced horse, not so much for a timid beginner or a horse used to purely flat areas)
They also have 8+miles of trails, pastures to ride on, and a mile long drive way that's NICE and shaded. They work and train horses proffessionally, and both full time trainers are entered in the mustang make over for this year! They also REALLY focus on training very broke trail horses so hold scedual trail 'parties' every weekend and are always available to go out on a trail if I don't want to go alone (which I doubt I ever will! Lol).
The only draw backs is that the place is pretty far out for me, and that 1 mile drive way is ROUGH and I have a silly little car that I hope doesn't bottom out AND that the place is a bit 'rough' looking like I said earlier. No nice white wood fencing or perfect horse fencing here....lot's of trees that hold up fencing, pieced fences made from gates, and hotwire....soooo, it's far from pretty....
I REALLY hope it works out for me!!! And I really hope I don't regret leaving my former hell hole....
