New Dress Boots Arrived Today.... vent

Last week I ordered some new Dress boots for my show at the end of March. Good thing I ordered early in case of an issue, there's an issue.

UPS came, was so so excited. Put on my stockings opened the box, put on the boots that were supposed to be size 8 XW. Put my foot in, fit like a glove. Went to zip up, and they would only zip up 2/3 of the way. I look at the box and they are 8W no 8XW. GAHHHHH!!!

I so want to scream. I have been having an issue with boots for the past 3 pair. Luckily the place I order from has a fit guarantee and... well it's their fault. I called them and I have to wait for a stupid Return Authorization, send these back, then they will send me the XW. So so sad.

Decided to go ahead and reorder. The girl said she would physcially check them herself before sending them out 2 day air. Then I will get a refund when the others come back.

Still so disappointed. I want them now ha ha

GAH, just looked at my order online and it shows they are out of stock, on backorder!! The girls on the phone said they had them in stock...

Can I go scream now?

I'll come scream with you, nothing ever goes right when I'm ordering boots and there is always a deadline

Hope you get it all sorted out before your show, if not do what I have threatened to

Hmmm, I bet a roll of black duck tape would look really nice instead of dress boots, and will fit perfectly :) It is just a schooling show after all!

Did you get the name of the clerk you talked with? I would call back right now and make sure your boots are in the mail, as promised. Maybe yours were the last ones. If not, you have time to find them elsewhere.

Yes I did. I also received a promise date as well of Feb 29 to receive them. They are expediting everything. The show is March 31/April 1 so when the 20th rolls around, that still leaves me a month to find something else and break them in if need be. My goal was to have boots by the end of Feb, 1 month early. My husband thought I was silly to insist on having them by then, but now I'm glad I did because I have given myself more than ample time for errors....

But I still want to SCREAM!

Ended up going with a less known name to order the boots because they said they had what I wanted in stock. ( The box arrived today and I was a little hesitant as it looked like the box had been to hell and back. Pulled out the boots and the beat up Dublin box, put the boots on and....
