New filly! :)

So, I was given a filly yesterday by some very nice people who are new to horses. They purchased her mother unaware that she was expecting. When they got her mom home, their vet told them she was due to foal soon. Anyway, some odd amount of months later on St. Patrick's Day, Paddy was born! :)

So, while Paddy is still with her mother, I get to work with her and her mother so that Paddy won't grow up to be untouched. Once she is weaned, she's mine to move to a boarding facility.

Mom isn't too thrilled by me, she's standoffish of people she is unfamiliar with. So I've been trying to win her over with lots of treats and love. She's gotten to where I'm allowed to touch Paddy as long as I'm not in her way of getting to her. So, I'll post a video of her playing in the field so everyone can see her! :)

I'm super excited about raising her! I've helped raise foals in the past, but I've never had one to call my own!

Thanks! I wish I knew what breed she could be. Mom is just a grade mare and dad is unknown. :/

Here's a video I took on accident, I forgot to turn off the video on the camera but you can see her a little better. I have a lot of good pictures on my other camera but I just moved and my other computer isn't hooked up for me to upload them yet. :(
