New horse!

The people that have been teaching my son how to ride gave my girls a horse! The people wanted to see my girls start riding, but the girls are scared of my son's horse. So, we went to see the horse to make sure that the girls wouldn't be scared of this horse also. This horse is incredible!!! He is a retired roping horse and barrel racer and will do anything that you tell him to do. Within about 10 minutes, both girls (11 and 6) were riding the horse all over the arena by themselves (with us close by...I'm a little overprotective). I even rode the horse and he handled like a dream! The horse is coming home tomorrow and everyone is so excited. That's all the girls have been talking about. These people are the greatest!

Oh yes, lots of pictures will be taken!

eclipseranch, he is doing great with his horse. We haven't had anymore problems since the first few issues. He does act up a little when he uses the bitless bridle, but when he puts a bit in the horses mouth, it's all business. It is a pain getting him to take the bit, but as soon as the bridle is on, he will do anything you ask. He is having a great time.

Congratulations! What a lovely gift, and how lucky you are to be surrounded with the love of horses, through your children!
