new horse

I have had Macie for over a month now. We are not a good match Since I have some confidence issues and she is a bit to spunky. I should have done my homework before buying her. So today we have decided to get me a better match.
I m not sure about anyone else but riding horse is not fun for me if I can't trust the horse I am on. The last couple times I rode Macie I did not have fun because I was so worried about what she was gonna do. I need a horse that I can learn on. So the search is on!!!!

Selling a horse because she's not a good fit can be a difficult decision but I always found it to be the right one. There is no such thing as a perfect horse but one that shakes your confidence is no fun in having - which is the reason to own a horse in the first place.

There are so many horses out there, I'm sure you will find one that is better suited for you at this point in your riding career.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

I agree ^ and hopefully we will get lotsa pictures of future horses! good luck! :)

Horses are scared of two things... Things that move and things that don't.

You should find one you can gel with and im sure you will find her a home with someone who she will mean the world to. just like relationships with people, just beacuse she isnt for you - she could be someones ideal horse, i know i like fresh ones to ride. good luck to both of you. horse riding should be fun... its 2 expensive not 2 b :)
