    New Horse?

Ok, my husband is 6'4 and 250 lbs. He needs a big horse. We currently have a 10 month old paso fino. He will probably not get taller than 15 hands, if that. We have also been weaning his half sister of the same age. Since they are weaned, I have been bugging my husband about sending her back to her owner (our neighbor). My husband, on the other hand, has fallen in love with her and bought her for $225. So now we have two small horses which he can not ride. I found a 16.2 hand high tn walker for $600 that I would love to get for him so that he can actually have something to ride. This is a 6 yo gelding that is already broke. Not to mention the fact that my guy is too young to break and I am dying to get in the saddle. Anyways, my husband is being stubborn about it and says no. I feel like this is a great deal and would be a great horse for him. What do I do?

P.s. I have attached pics. He is skinny, but with a little fattening up, he'll be beautiful!

Not the best pics to form an opinion on but i'll give you what I think I see. He's got a cute face and a kind eye, certainly needs weight and to have a good farrier take a look at his feet. It looks like he has high withers which will make saddle fitting a bit more difficult (just so you have that in mind when deciding things). If you just want a trail/fun horse I say go see him and see how he is in person. It's hard to make any decision just based off a few pictures. :)
