    new horse/ rescue/ summer project.

I saw this horse by the road in a 50' by 50' pen. Her shelter was a tarp draped over some sticks...i talked to a friend of mine who lived near the people and he said they told him they felt bad for the horse and couldn't leave it where is was so I guess they did have good intentions, but they didn't know the first thing about horses. When I got to toms to clean stalls he gave me their number and said the police told them they had two days to get rid of her. So I went n got her, I just walked her to toms for the night and will haul her home as soon as I get out of school.
She's around 5 years old, 13hh. Her feet have been trimmed recently so I reckon they did help her a little.
It will probably just take a couple months to get her back to health.
Can't wait to get started! Ill try to post some pictures in a few days
