New lesson horse!

As some of you may know, in February I was gifted with an amazing mare named Breezie. She's a phenomenal lesson horse for my program, a total answer to prayer, and every time I ride her or teach a lesson on this horse I think "I love this horse", and she was 100% free. The owner just wanted her to be well taken care of and wanted her to stay close.
So, the woman who bred Breezie called me the other day. She has a gelding that she also bred, who was trained by the same trainer that trained Breezie, that is just sitting in pasture. She's showing another stud and doesn't have time for him anymore. He doesn't have what it takes it get really high points in reining. So, she's doesn't want to sell him or give him away, but offered him to me to use for lessons. She doesn't plan on taking him back, I would be his sort of 'second forever home'. So I went out to ride him today and oh. My. Goodness. He is definitely the most well trained horse I have ever ridden. Ferrari with fur. The best part is that he has been ridden twice in the last year! Today I understood the true meaning of 'spins on a dime'. You lay that rein and leg and off he goes! I'm in love with him. I told my husband I have a new boyfriend. Lol. He's a finished Reiner. He's an epic horse . And he's free. Oh and he's BIG! I love it! Built like a tank. His name is Booker. :)

My husband brought the camera to take pictures but apparently I had taken the memory card out, lol. I'll be going to pick him up around the first of June. Yay! Thank you Jesus!

I love seeing photos when a horse is stopping with out the rein pressure, he looks so gorgeous. What amazing opportunities you have with these horses.

Right?! Isn't this crazy? I seriously have to give all the glory to God. He's incredible too, he really is an 'all seat' kind of horse. With just lil ol me riding him yesterday after a year off, he was sing on a dime with just my seat. This is the third horse I have ridden that was trained by this trainer and have got to meet this guy. His name is Mark Harnden.
