New saddle on trial, want to make sure fit is right

I have a 17" Pessoa Rodrigo on trial for 3 more days. I love how it feels, my trainer thinks that the flaps are too short for me though. They didn't feel short when I rode, and I had a friend take pictures and I'm not sure that they look too short either. I know my trainer has more experience than I in this, but the woman at the store has a reputation for being knowledgeable and honest above making a sale and she thought it was alright, and from what I'm looking at online about saddle fitting I think it may be okay. The saddle is on sale for a steal so I'd hate to pass it up, but I also don't want to get stuck with a saddle that doesn't fit me right.

Opinions? Thanks!

I'm going to try and get more pictures today, I'm not allowed to put stirrups on it, but I want to hold the stirrups up next to it and see better where my leg would sit with them

fitting, new tack, pessoa, saddle, saddle fit
