i seen previews of it on TLC last night. THe preview's showed all sorts of stuff but anything with a horse in it was either the rider falling off or the horse falling and probably getting hurt. So ill watch it but if its only about horses getting hurt then i wont watch it..
I think i'm going to watch it. maybe.... it looks interesting. i'm curious if it will show the insides of racing and the bonds between jockeys and their horses....?
I don't plan on watching it. I think horse racing is cruel. The animals are way too young to be pushed like they are. The whole Barbaro thing is proof of that. I think its awful.
It's really horrible what happened to them. My horse is an ex-racehorse and he has so many scars on his legs that I couldn't even begin to count them. Some have been there for over 10 years, so they must have been bad enough to prevent hair from ever growing back in spots.
I liked the show in general. I don't like the jockeys. I don't like the way they handle the horses but i also don't know anything about racing.. The one guy even said he man handled the horse which led to him flying over its head and getting run over.
I agree 3neighs. Because I live in a racing state, I found it interesting to learn more about the racing industry and the lives of jockeys. I actually enjoy watching it...
I don't think I could bring myself to watch it.
I disagree with horse racing completely. It would probably only make me more bitter towards it, to be honest.
