New to site and just saying Hello

Hello fellow horse lovers. I am new to this type of site. I am more comfortable with 'up front and personal' types of conversations, but it is a new world and I need to adapt.

I am looking forward to getting honest responses and information without the 'sales pitch'.

At this time my main interest is to find a future replacement stallion that will compliment my current breeding plans. I have an older, well bred stallion that I am using on an assortment of mares. I have some speed, arena, and cow breeding and I am looking to pull the results together with the best stallion match I can find. So I am doing some looking to see what is out there and to just find other people who love the puzzle of horse breeding.

I might as well open the ball game and ask if anyone has any suggestions of blood lines to compliment my mares and stallion. I am looking to put on some added height as well as atleticism. I would prefer an older stallion that already has some miles under his belt, but a young horse is not a deal breaker if the fit is right. I have posted most of my breeding mares for your viewing pleasure.

Well we have a forum area specifically to talk about breeding:

    Horse Breeding

I don't really venture in there all that much as I have absolutely nothing to contribute so instead I look at all the foal threads

Welcome to the horse forum and I hope you find what you're looking for!

Thank you Sky. I will try to start a dialog on that forum. I hope everyone is as helpful. I just love talking horses.
