Hmmm.... How about 'Ray'? I'm sure to think of more, and you'll find lots of folks on here who are good at names too :)

If I give a nickname (and I do it a lot!), I usually just shorten up the name. For example, my boy's name is Snickers, but I mostly call him just Snicks. On other occasions, I may nickname a horse after a distinct behavioral pattern or after the looks of the horse, for example, Snicks sometimes becomes "Mr.Moose", if he acts up, as his face once reminded me the muzzle of a moose, or Trickster, when he's particularly playful; or a filly, named Fiona, sometimes becomes "Finx", just because I like the sound of it. Be creative! :)

Aerial doesn't seem girly to me at all! I guess I'd nickname Ray or Aires.

Just give it time and see what name you start calling him. I think people always gravitate towards a nickname for a pet or person, so just wait until you go "that's it" one day.

Honestly, you just have to come up with one on your own. I have the worst nick names ever for my horse. Her name is Sophisticated Lady and her "official" barn name is Sophie but I literally never call her that. Soapie, Soph, Loafie, Loafers, Sissy and Boo are just a few of the ridiculous names I call her when she's being good and when she's being rude (or I'm goofing off) I call her [insert offensive adjective here] Nag, Hag, Beast, Chunkers, or even just Mare. Actually I call her Mare and Horse a lot When she rushes jumps or is feeling up (common for her) I call her Energizer Bunny, Rocket Dog, or Speedy Gonzales. I am the queen of random nicknames, bow down before me! Anyway, the point is to be creative, and try not to be like me and confuse your horse completely because at this point Sophers doesn't even have a real name :P

Danee is often called Dan Dan, Danny Man & when he's being naughty Daniel. Molly is Molly Moo, Mal or Animal

^^We call our Molly 'Molly Moo' too!. Also Shameer becomes Shim, Shimmy or Shimmy Shim. My new lease horse Logan is just Logan, will have to give it some time. :)
