There's. A horse at the ranch who is VERY dark brown (but it looks black) and white and can me grumby and stubborn her name is Cassie but many people call her "Cow-sie". There have been many times that I've been on a traitors and one other staff in paticular asked "why is that camper riding a cow?" and I'd go on about how pretty she is, too pretty to be a cow. I do understand where the nickname comes from though she's tried to nip her riders feet (good thing for leather boots and tapadaros) and once during a "wrangler lesson" she decided her side was itchy and itsimply could NOT wait and walked over to the wall and began scratching I tried to neck rein her w
Away but that just wasn't happening so I tried direct rein, nothing. I couldn't use leg commands either because my leg was pinned to the wall, I tried and tried to no avail until the instructor decided enough was enough and got off her horse marched straight over to me and grabbed the rein and lead us back into line....not exactly my proudest moment on horse back....
