    No Justice For Starved Horses

Don't know if anyone has seen this yet. Crossposted from Fugly.

It's about a "rescue" that had all their horses taken away because she was starving them and didn't have any water.

    Here is the news link:
No justice for starved horses at Hidden Meadows Equine Rescue in West Virginia - National Equine Advocacy | Examiner.com

Here is a youtube at the rescue that rescued the horses from the "rescue".

Here is the link on fugly:

You starve 56 horses and only have to pay $1000, you litter on a city block and get a $500 fine....how does that work?

Yeah that's pretty sad... She barely got in trouble. I guess all we can do now is just pray that she won't do it again. :/

Must of had a dam good lawyer. It should of been $1000 per horse to cover the cost of vet bills.

Arizona just passed a law that says horse rescues must be registered with the state.
The rescues have to to pass certain guidelines to be registered. The idea is to stop stuff like this.

I would think they could get her for missappropriating the donations or something of that sort. It would be fraudulous I would think.
