Northwest Horse Fair+Expo - anybody going?

I totally bought my ticket [I'm going on Saturday] today...

Are any other NW Horse Forum people going?

I'm so excited! My mom is coming with me and she's TOTALLY not a horse person. She likes them, just thinks they're "big and scary". She thinks Lacey, little 14.1hh Lacey, is some kind of giant monster.
I'm so excited for her to see a Fresian, or other "big" horse. I think her reaction will probably cause me to die of laughter.

A link, in case you wanna see:

I'd love to go. Hm m m m. Wonder how I can talk hubby into wanting to go to Oregon that weekend. How far of a drive is Albany from downtown Portland? He love to go to Ptld for the book store, and I go to the Ringside for prime rib!

According to Google, it's about an hour and a half from the Expo to Portland. So a little ways. :/

But then again, maybe if you extoll the virtues of (I assume you're referring to Powell's) Powell's dramatically enough, maybe he'll be convinced.
