    Ocean riding trip!

I am so excited for our ocean riding trip this weekend. Well Sunday to be specific. It has always been my dream to go riding on the beach and in the ocean water. I won't go swimming or anything, but maybe some splashing around.

We are taking my old man, Junior and then the woman that owns John might join us and drafts4ever is taking her mare Legacy. Sadly Caleigh is out of commission due to a horrid dust allergy and Sammy is lame :( But it will be fun nonetheless!

Going to have tons of pictures. But just so you have something to look at in this thread. Here are some pictures of the horses that are/might be going. John I am not sure about yet on whether he is going or not. Would be awesome if he did cause then we would have two 23 year old Candian Thoroughbreds there!

So first off, Junior, looking mighty fine on his new feed!

Then the ever gorgeous miss Legacy!

    And good ol' John!

Will have tons of pictures taken!

Thanks Legacy makes my horse look like a...well like something that isn't as pretty lol. She is so gorgeous, my horse looks so plain next to her. Of course I love my old man though!

The funny thing is, is that Legacy, who is I think like 5 or 6 is probably going to be better behaved than Junior, who is 23...I guess that is Thoroughbred for you :P

Wow your horses are gorgeous and Legacy looks like something out of a fairy tale!

I did my first ocean ride a couple of years ago in St. Maarten and let me tell you that was the greatest experience ever! Galloping along the beach as the waves wash up on the sand. Then we actually took a little dip with our horses. It was magical! Please share pics!

Tinyliny - We are going to Ocean Shores :] If you happen to be free on Sunday, and are anywhere near closeby, you should come by. We are working on getting a bigger group together. I think that the more is definitely the merrier :]

Maple - Thanks, I have waited my entire riding career to do this lol. Always wanted to but could never get it worked out. I have ridden on the beach but that was horse rentals and the most you get to do is trot for like a few strides. Boring! If anyone ends up swimming without a horse it would probably be me. John's owner is an amazing rider and of course drafts4ever is spectacular, I am the runt in this group lol.
