    The official "looking for" thread!

I figured it would be pretty neat to post here about that "horse you had years ago and you just want to see if he's okay" or maybe a current horse you have that you just want to see if you can find anymore info on them.

I'll start- I currently have a 12/13 yr old Paint (grade) gelding who came from Va and was used as a cow/ranch horse and then went to a broker in Pa then came up here to Ny. He's all white with a pink muzzle and a big white blaze. (So technically he's a gray with a big white blaze and a pink nose. Two blue eyes with eyeliner on both. Some flea bitten spots on him. Just want to see what his previous life was!

Now share yours! Maybe (hopefully) we could find some answers

I've had a pretty grey fleabitten gelding, around 5 years old by the name of Doc.
I got him from a fellow in New Caney, Texas, who said he used to work cattle. He's got a "D" on his left hindquarters, is unregistered, Quarab. Just wondering, and this is a great idea.

Nope. My guy had brown eyes and was probably shorter, standing at 14.3 hands.

I've already posted about Atticus, but wanted to add him here too. I miss my boy so much. I got a few leads, but so far, that's where it ends.

I know this is a HUGE longshot, but...

I sold this horse this summer. It was the biggest mistake of 2012. Every single day that has passed I have regretted the decision and have thought about him. I NEED to know where he is, if he is safe, and would like to buy him back if possible. I miss this horse more than words can say. However, if he is not for sale, I would be happy to know that he is at least safe and happy. He is about 16hh and is a registered QH. He is head-shy at first. Please, if you know where he is, I would appreciate your help.

    Here's what I know-
The guy I sold him to sent him to auction. He's a horse trader. (There's a LOT to this story that I just don't want to get into. It's too emotional for me. But none of that changes the facts. I should not have sold him, I did, and my heart is broken without him.)
He was sold in southern Louisiana, but at this point, could be anywhere.

I would like to find out information on my mare's parents, specifically her Dam and whoever bred her or owned her when she foaled my mare. Somewhere I have the names of her grandparents breeders/owners but it never led me anywhere.

Here is her all breed pedigree link:
    Comet Crossbred

From what I know is she was bred in Oregon possibly washington

I would also be interested in finding any siblings or related horses and their owners.

I know next to nothing about my mare and would LOVE to know her history.

If I could find any horse owner in her family tree I would be happy :)

I could post a pic but I don't know if that would help since Im not looking for her.

I have no pictures of her parents either and have never seen them.
