    Oh Sweetie xD

Today I went to ride the mare I lease. We had a good ride (I'm still to nervous to get the canter, and she is too lazy) and after warming her up a little, I asked my brother if he wanted to ride. He is 10, and is not super into horses, but did have about 2 months of lessons. So I helped him up and we started walking. The mare I lease is in her early 20s and was abused by a little boy before her current owners got her. She doesn't really like boys now, but will tolerate them. Also, the arena is right next to a really busy highway.

So anyways, my little brother gets on, I hold her halter (it's under her bridle) and we walk around. Suddenly, the noises coming from the cars are OMG SO SCARY! So she spooks. For my lazy old mare, that's doing an extended trot for about... 6 steps

My poor little brother got so scared. He want "Oh Crap!" really loudly, which got him a lecture on how to not yell around horses from my mom. It was actually pretty funny, and I was laughing. I still felt bad though xD
So I got on and trotted her around to wear her out then I put her back. My brother proceeds to tell me how stupid and dumb she is. I kind of look back and say: I should have made him get back on!"
But oh well. He has more horse xp now I guess.

Haha that's a good spook...kind of unless something's really coming after her "aaaaaaahh! Run awaaaay!...whew! I'm tired...we'll guess I'm going to be eaten....crap"
