I'm going to be the spoiler here but what gives you the right to bash adds on craigslist without knowing the horses background or where the owners got them?

Some strange thinking there, yes they are in need of some feeding, but none of them look emaciated. Maybe the owner has fallen on tough times so why shouldn't they be sold? I don't understand why they should be given away, at this stage, and hey I don't know if they are gaining or losing weight or if they are stable weight, all makes a difference.

If the ad said 'giving away' then someone would of posted here that it is horrible that people are giving their horses away.

The important thing, whatever way, looks like they will be headed for pastures new.

My worries? Like Themackpack said I hope the stud colt doesn't spend too much time with the mare, and I also hope that he isn't included in the "my grand children rides them often" quote.

It is in my opinion totally melodramatic to even think about calling animal control, these guys just need a little upgrade and not an intervention.

Well, while I agree with this, the ad does state that they ride them often!! Um to me, that says it all there. These horses need food, not to be ridden often!!!

I'm not sure how griping on a forum about a random ad on Craigslist is going to do anybody any good.
