I'm going to be buying Sonny a new bit...but I HAVE to order it over the internet since the stores don't carry it (bummer....) but I don't know what store to order it from.(click on the link to see a list of what stores carry the bit online) http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=Parelli Shank Bit B3&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wf
those are the only stores that really carry it
ehorseequiptment.com has it also
Yes I know the bit is over $100 but I'm thinking it might help...which store would you say is more reputable to buy it from?
i've not heard of either of those, but have dealt with ehorseequipment.com (world champion horse supply) and they are great. Just know that you can't return the bit if it doesn't work (Federal regulation)
As long as you are paying with a credit card, I would go with the least expensive. You have the security of being able to raise any problem with your card company if necessary.
You might also want to call the one you are comfortable with and see if they will match the lower price you have from another dealer.
Strange. The tack store I work for carries all the different brands.... and Toklat is a BIG company with much more to offer than just bits... are you sure that your local tack shop can't get it in for you?
I have only used HorseLoverz.com, and quite like it - if you sign up they have promotions for free shipping, a percentage off of your purchase, etc.. which can work to your advantage!
I've never heard of that store either, but have purchased from several online catalogs etc. I'd suggest one of these bits as I suspect they are very similar and much cheaper.
