Only 5 more months untill I can see my ponies again...

So, I have made a temperary move to North Dakota for work. I am going to be stuck out here, horseless and sad, for at least 5 months. I moved Mana and Thelma back to the place I was privately boarding this spring so that I know what kind of care they are getting. (My kitties are staying there too.) The lady and her family are great and I really trust them to take amazing care of my fur babies while I am gone, but I am going nuts. I miss my ponies...

On the up side, North Dakota is alot more horse oriented and I am LOVING the tack stores that are everywhere. Definitely going home with a pile of horse stuff...

I had been hoping I'd bump into someone that has horses and would let me do some work or something in exchange for riding, but the area I am in is cattle and such and I don't know how prevelant that sort of thing would be around here.

Anywho. That's just me being whiney and obnoxious, but I had to tell someone, so it may have been my Horseforum family.
