    Ooo you smell sooo good

I was grooming my horse today before our morning ride.Just standing at the hitching post next to her head not really paying attention. I suddenly felt this soft nuzzle on my hair and cheek. Vida had her nose right against my cheek and was taking a good long smell. I could feel her warmth and the almost suction like intake of her breath. It was just so cool I wanted to tell you about it. She has never done it before. I quit smoking (5 weeks today) and wondered if it was because now I smell better or because I smell different then I used to. It was a very sweet horsey/human moment. I'm not sure whats going on between her and I lately. She has just gotten way more affectionate this summer than she has ever been.
Sorry folks, just really feeling the love for the Vida horse today

No tears just the ol tug on the heart strings. I just feel very lucky to have found found my sweet girl. I'd ask her in every evening to watch Wheel of Fortune with me if she would fit on the couch.

Maybe it has something to do with the moon cycle ?!?! Yesterday I was unloading groceries out of the back of the suburban and (I had the horses mowing the yard yesterday) I turned around with my hands full of scary white grocery bags to have Dumas right there in front of me...like 10 inches away...He sniffed the bags and then stood there and sniffed my nose....It was the weirdest thing but totally cool! 8)

I'm going to say that Vida likes the way mommy smells now!!!! And the mowed trails and the feed and the butt scratches...She Loves Mommy Maureen!!!
