I forgot to put blackhorse away last night! When I got up this morning he had backed himself up next to where we park the trucks and bedded down for the night! LOL... I must have woke him w/ the headlights when I drove down to the barn to feed. He mosied on down and ate his breakfast in the aisle while I showered and dressed... and then he was MAD when I put him in the paddock w/ the commoners so that I could go to work... He feels he is much to important to be placed in the confines of a paddock! I'll let him out again when I get home tonight... My gosh!!!!

Does blackhorse get to run in the yard? We have had our horses up in our yard this summer...It's been really nice and kinda fun. (My 6 acre pasture where they usually run is so overgrown and I don't know when I'll be able to get teh guys to brushhog it.) Dumas was completely offended when I kept him and Twister in their pen until after the farrier had been here and was finished with them.

Yep..Dumas was very offended that his royal bootie had to say penned up.

Blackhorse has free run until I go to bed usually and then he gets put up. The rest get to join him one or two at a time depending on who it is... (depending on their level of trustworthiness...) I am leaving him out on purpose tonight... we'll see how it go's... He doesnt go anywhere... and if he did... it wouldnt be far... maybe next door (My parents yard - it's 3 acres)... or maybe across the road... (private gravel road)... that would be my neighbors... he's pretty lazy though....and the pace he walks... it'd take half the night to get there.....

That's so funny!!! Our horses do the same if we leave them out. Well, we dont' have stalls but they go back into the pen and sleep in the corner together.
