    Oor wee merrylegs

So a few of you may have seen my earlier thread about possibly buying a pony to keep whiskey company and something for my nephew to learn with, well we settled on the cheaper pony of the two I mentioned.
Her name is Merrylegs, she's a little grey welsh section A roughly 7 years old. We went out to view her yesterday and i'm pleased to say she isn't what I expected.
According to what her current owner told us she was wild with very little handling.
I expected to see some form of demon pony that snorted at her own shadow, however I was pleasantly surprised to see the only real problem with her is being caught and being a little nervous around people. Yet once she's caught and on the rope she allows you to groom her and pet her with little fuss. She never even moved away when I put my arm over her withers and added a little weight to her.
I've been told that the reason she's as spooky with people is because of a vet jag that went wrong on her neck.
Anyway, i'm riding whiskey through to the farm Merrylegs is being kept at next week and Merrylegs' owner has kindly agreed to driving whiskey up with the pony.
Expect to see lots of photos next week!

Merrylegs arrived yesterday and whiskey also got picked up along the way so they are now both up the road. We have also finally moved in to our new house! About time too.
We will be getting a working internet connection on thursday so I shall upload the pictures then. :) she's a wee babe with her wee half ear.
