Talking opinions on horse onesie

I don't know... I'm torn between thinking it's practical in the most hilarious way, and then not liking it because I think I'd be pretty freaked out if I saw a pasture full of horses in colorful onesies.

What do you guys think?

There was a thread on this a few days ago. I live in Southeastern Oklahoma, I would be taken to the Mental Hospital if I had 5 horses in my pasture with onesies!!! But I did say if I had enough money, I would love to buy them and do it just to see what everyone would say!!! In my little town it would not only be on the front page of the news paper but also the 5 o'clock news!!

I think they are truly the ugliest thing I have seen designed for horses yet. Not to say that they might not be a good idea for some show horses, but definitely, no way, not ever happening for my horse!

I'm envisioning this to help keep a horse with tons of white (or a grey horse) clean before a show. Or, a cute halloween/parade costume... both of you in jammies, super-cute. Or the horse in jammies and the rider dressed as the sand man or tooth fairy (could have a "tooth" on a string around horse's neck for that one.) Other than that... cuckoo. LOL

Sorry about that I didn't know. I haven't been on the forum for a while.

I like the pajama Halloween costume idea.

Am I the only one who thinks that is creepy? Like in "my mommy didn't buy me enough dolls as a kid" kind of way?

At first the thought of them kind of creaped me out, but really the Halloween costume idea is growing on me now. :P Also the idea of putting it on before a show doesn't seem so bad, but I can't get used to the thought of it being used for ordinary daily turnout. Just doesn't seem natural to wrap every inch of a horse in something (everyday), before it goes out to play and be "a horse".

Man, now I want to dress up as Captain America for Halloween, and Parker be my shield! It would be glorious to see people's looks on the trails!

Or I'll get a green one and keep my Lady Loki idea . . . Oh, the possibilities are endless!

I don't like them. Don't think it is right to sanitize our horses. They are not made to be covered up in this way. It will be interesting to see what the unintended consequences of this are. Poor horses.
