the opportunity of my life... SO EXCITED

Sooo a few days ago I found out that an Olympic level rider is looking for a working pupil. Naturally I sent off an application via email, but I never thought I stood a chance. They actually got back to me, and after a bit of back-and-forth...

...I AM GOING. For a four-week trial initially, to see if I can handle it and to see if they like me. It will be hard work, but so worth it!

They said basically to book my flights and then let them know when I'm booked for.

This is the most incredible opportunity, I actually can't believe it.

For this four weeks, and potentially as a full-time live-in position, I will be working for Heath Ryan.

Thank you!! I'm honestly ridiculously excited about this, but kind of dreading giving my notice at work... I'm terrified of 3 of the bosses and the other doesn't work every Monday.

They've got to understand you can't turn down an opportunity like this!

I think if you just give them a notice that won't burn any bridges, you'll be fine :)

Haha yeah the boss I'm not scared of, she'll understand completely, but I'm not sure about the others. They don't get horse people.

Evil, I think it's going to be a LOT of hard work!! Going on an instructional vid I've seen, it's basically dawn til dusk of hard physical work - the sort of stuff we Aussies call hard yakka!
