Unhappy Ouch!

Ouch! Im in quite a lot of pain after my spill last night! I went to my lesson and we were jumping. The horse I ride in lessons is very eager to jump and caught me of guard and as we came out of it I ended up on his neck.,.... now the problem with lucero is that if you use to much leg he bucks, when in the proper seat its easy to sit out but because I was on his neck I tumble to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hah I've hit my tail bone and my head but the most surprising thing is considering I had a good quality helmet on I have a huge tennis ball size lump on my head lol even my trainer was very surprised! Now for the question what do you guys think I did wrong to end up on his neck? I don't fancy having a repeat I know I can jump what I fell off of because after the fall I got back on (im very hard headed when it comes to pain) and started a lil smaller then got back to the jump I was on and did it perfect. This is the first time I have fallen while jumping and my confidence has taken a plunge haha thanks to anyone that has read all of this!!
