Our new gelding

So I was not really looking for a new horse but I came across this 9 yr old gelding he has not had alot of training. But I could not pass this guy up. He is so sweet His name is Elcapitan or cappy for short. His mom ran barrels his dad was raced he has alot of thoroughbred in him his pedigree is pretty cool! His great great grandfather is war admiral his mom has doc bar and son o skip Iam usually not all excited about papers and that jazz just want a good horse but Iam excited! Iam hoping to make a trail/pleasure horse out of him he has a beautiful trot. It was terribly windy today and my dog's were barking and calves were fussing and he was not sure of all that. He definitely need to gain some weight and have a bath:) but I love his markings and he has 2 blue eyes! I just had to show off my new boy!019.jpg

What a handsome fella you've got there!

So in lies the madness, the pursuit of the impossible in the face of the complete assurance that you will fail, and yet still you chase.
