Our Stallion is Sold...

Our Stallion, Beau is officially sold today. The people had been calling for a couple of days and came out today. Beau was a brat, he bucked a couple of times, which he hardly ever did, even when I was first starting him. But he was an old pro for the gentleman that bought him. And my son got on last ride on him.

We are going to miss him, but he is going to a very good home. He is going to be used alot and the people seem to really like him. Their daughter thinks his is just beautiful, so I gave her two farmed pictures of him to put in her bedroom. They seemed so thrilled with him. And I got a pretty good price considering the market and that fact that he only had about 30 days under his belt.

He is with a very good people, I'm very thrilled with the people who got him!

It was very odd when I went out to feed tonight and not seeing him in the pasture, he has been with us since a yearling. I've known him since he was 4 months old. He was my hubbies dream horse, but we just didn't have the time to invest in him. He didn't want to geld him because of his abilities, pedigree and temperment.

These people are going to bring him along way in the roping pen, which he has tons of aptitude for.
