Paint horse people I need your help.....

Should I renew my paint horse journal for next year?? I've had it this year and im not that thrilled with it.. they just had articles on horse shows and western stuff. Some of the articles were neat. I do like looking at the stallions and the horse sales.. I have to figure this out by janurary. Do you like the PHJ? Should I spend the money to renew it?

I like it. I find most of the articles are worth reading. Plus, there's those great pictures on the last page. =]

It's entirely up to you though, I just liked them when I had it, and I'm missing them now, lol.

I ended my subscription last year & I don't miss the magazine one bit.

I think it's more geared to show people, honestly. It's sort of the names and horses you "need to know" in the industry, then a few articles sprinkled in... I liked it just because of the pretty paints, but... I don't get it, my mom does... and I don't miss it really.

A friend of mine was in last Decembers PHJ. She has the first Smokey Cream registered in the APHA

I did not renew mine last year but I am thinking about renewing the subsciption. Some articles were good and I like looking at the pedigrees on the horses through out the magazie.

My bf gets it. I like the PHJ. It has some really great issues and stories but like it was mentioned before it is mostly geared to show people and their horses.
