Painting your horse?

Hey guys,

Any suggestions as to what type of paint I can use to paint a skeleton on my mare? We have a freestyle class next weekend. In the past I'd just used a non toxic washable paint, but I'd be interested to see if anyone has any better ideas?

I would say those finger paints that they use in preschool.

A few years ago a ranch I worked at had kids paint their horses as a kids event. They used paint markers which were like a cross between a crayon and a paint. They sort of had the consistency of a chocolate bar that's been in the car on a hot day. They were sort of melty and mushy, which means kids could smear them on the horses without too much effort. You could also use sidewalk chalk that has been wetted a bit. The paint-markers were non-toxic and washed off. They could be/were purchased in a children's toy store or the writing/drawing section of a larger store.

Great, now I want to paint a skeleton on my horse! I am such a cat that copies.

My daughter did a Halloween show last year... took my boy ( who is white ) and painted him blue ( she was Paul Bunyan and he was Babe the blue ox.. lol..) She used non-toxic tempra paint. He was blue till he shed out the next spring.. lol...
