Panic over drought!

So in the last 2days I have seen 4 horses being given away for free on craigslist here in Ok because of the drought we are going through. It is pure panic! I know getting hay this winter will mean traveling & paying more but dang.

For those already just barely getting by, that extra travel and cost for hay may be the breaking point -- if they know that, it's better that they take steps now to keep it from being an issue than wait until everyone else who finds themselves needing to cut horses from their load start flooding the market, kwim?
