Pecking Order

I have found the trick to keeping Blu's respect meter up about me. To bond with him. The more I've groomed, ridden, and worked with him...he's gotten a little better. He hasn't snapped his ears back at me for a while. Knock on wood. I get the feeling that he actually wants to be with me from:

The way he always checks me over for those now-and-then treats

The way his headset has improved nicely

The way he hasn't bucked in a while

The way he nuzzles my hands

And MORE!

Oh gosh that made me smile , im so glad you stuck with it! It will only make your bond stronger. You should feel really proud of yourself and him. Believe me, I knew EXACTLY how you felt, and now I never could imagine I would have this big of a bond. Like you said, it's just about time that you spend with them, and ALWAYS end on a happy note. Grooming is fun and free lounging I personally like. Confidence is key, even if he's acting out, don't let it scare you because he can sense it. It literally is about pecking order. And im sure Blu LOVES those now and then treats ;)

GREAT JOB!!

Brilliantly said.

That's great that you're getting things worked out with Blu.
