    Pedagree Question

I rescued a paint mare from the Eugene Livestock Auction awhile back they said that she is registered and her registered name is Sierra Rampage. Can some one help me find out who her sire and dam are? She was skin and bones and in full term pregnant. She had a filly 2 days after I got her home. It took me a year to get her back to where she should be.. She has a good home and 22 acres to play on now. Thanks for the help..

Can you post a photo of her left side?

For starters, it would help if you know her breed. Then look for a tattoo or brand and give the number. Any idea how old she might be? Even a range would help. A photo might help out as well. Just a name is not enough to go by. If the livestock barn knows her name, they should know more than that.

It's like asking for someone's phone number that lives somewhere on this continent and having only a name. Actually, it's probably harder.

A horse with that name is APHA registered. And the original breeder is from Oregon, but without a photo it is hard to determine if the horse the OP has could potentially be the one listed with APHA

Thank you for posting her picture. She is 12 years old. And was APHA registered as Sierra Rampage.

The photo appears to match the registration. If the livestock auction told you her registered name, then they must have seen papers at some point. I would be contacting them or whatever rescue you purchased her from to obtain the papers.

Also, she would be 13. APHA lists Sierra Rampage as being foaled in 2000.

I added the pedigree information to allbreed for you. Sierra Rampage Paint

    OP's very first sentence:

Yes FM, I did read that, but so many people say paint and they might mean APHA or they might mean any other breed that is multi coloured. Especially since it was listed as paint, not Paint.
