People...bother me. (short rant)

I'm trying to sell my mare right now, so I've been having people out to look at her. I live in Wisconsin and we just got hit with a nasty snow storm and it's been really icy and windy and snowy for the last week. So I put a blanket and a rain sheet on my mare to keep the wet off of her and keep her from getting a chill. So these people come out to look at her this week and they get out of the vehicle, and I say 'that's her' and I point to her. And I say, I'll go through the barn and get her halter if you want to follow me. And what do they say? "Oh, no. It's fine. We aren't really interested in her anymore." And I'm like "Uhm... what?" And she goes "It's obvious there's something wrong with her, and you're trying to hide it with that blanket." So I politely said I can bring her in the barn and take her blankets off so they could take a look at her. And they refused.

Uhm.... whatever. See ya, then, lady. You just missed out on a great horse.

What..?

Clearly there's something very wrong with the pricy halter horses at my barn because I have never seen them without blankets.

I don't think they have any business owning a horse if they don't even understand that a blanket is placed on a horse to keep it safe from the cold weather. I'm sorry that you even had to face those people.

ugh. I was just like, Really? Legit? I really couldn't believe it. I even specifically said I could take her blankets off so they could look her over, and they refused! *facepalm*

And it was even snowy and windy that day, so it's not like it was bright and sunny and she had a pile of blankets on. :/ But whatever. I had a family come and look at her today, and they think they are going to buy her. :)

Your horse narrowly missed going to live with a crazy lady!

I hope you find a 5 star sensible home for her.
