People w/ only one horse...how do you do it?! (vent)

I own a single horse also. She's been my single horse for about 3 years now, although the first year she was pastured with 12 Standardbreds and a Miniature. Now, she's been moved to my sister's farm and is pastured with a single QH gelding.

I also recomend a goat . . . And not only are they good for a buddy they also eat all the weeds in the pasture that horses wont.

Would it be possible to have one of the uncles horses over to stay with your horse? I haven't seen that option mentioned and that might well be a solution. Perhaps rotating them daily. Just a thought.

Before we bought delilah jasper had 2 baby goats to take care of. They follow him aroung like he is their daddy. He had chickens too.

You're just going to have to sleep outside with him.

We are thinking about the goat thing, my gma didnt know horses like goats either so...lol winter is coming so I doubt we are going to get another animal that we are going to have to pay to feed but when spring rolls around there is no question we are getting another horse, so I guess if he can hold out until spring I suppose he'll be ok
