Perhaps the cruelest barrel racer

I saw this barrel racer while I was rodeoing and I had to video tape it. Isn't terrible? Look at how much she uses the quirt on her poor horse that is running it's heart out for her already!

And this is the nasty nasty bit that I saw her using.

Did you say anything to her, or did you think, 'that might not be my business?'. Seems awful to post a video of someone and talk $#!+, when they can't defend themselves

Not to mention that bit really isnt all that horrible my friend has a similar one for her gelding and he loves it. Sure she whipped him a bit too much but to be honest there are worse riders out there.

Exactly, kat. The person didn't agree to have video shot of her, and then for the OP to come here and try to trash her is very, very bad form.

OP reported to the Mod team. There's no reason for her to do that, other than being nasty.

How much you wanna bet there's no love lost between these two, and the OP's just trying to start trouble?

You want the truth? You can't HANDLE the truth!

I see it frequently. Especially with the 9 to 15 year olds. You'd think their parents would have taught them better.

I just shake my head in disgust with those type of people. And keep it in my memory on how not to treat my animals.

I can't see much in that video. A lot of people run in harsh crap. Can't do much about it

Also, it's okay that you didn't like the way she rode. We just think it's the wrong way to go about this. Don't like the way she rides? Then be better, but don't bash :)

Okay I'm going to get back on topic. That is actually me on Heidi. I was just doing this to see how many people would react. If you don't believe me, look at my "I Am Going To State" thread. This is my 9th place run I made at state. Heidi was just coming back from an injury and was refusing to opening up so I had to use a quirt on her to help her run.

and I have seen a LOT worse bits out there than that one. Heidi absolutely loves her little Sherry Cervi bit. She's a super soft mouthed horse but that's the one bit she likes to run in.
