Oddie:
When I've decided he's getting too many treats and turn him back out without one...and then he pulls that 'puppy dog' face and I feel so meeean.
When he stands on my toes. And I'm sure he does it on purpose. He always stands there STARING and I just know he's laughng inside.
The way he flings his head around with teeth bared whenever you reach to do his girth up. And yes, it IS just bad manners.
He drinks, holds it in his mouth and then flings it everywhere! But only when people stand near him...
He's so desperate to get to food (he's starved, you see :roll
he will pull someone over just to reach an unattended bucket that MIGHT have feed in.
What I do like:
He always poops in one tidy corner of his stable.
He takes care of my boyfriend who can't ride.
He's never actually bitten anyone when you do up his girth (ok, he bit a dog once, but it was more like the labrador RAN into his mouth while it was open...)
The way he always has to lick his teeth for 10 minutes after every time he eats (it's SO cute, like he's trying to get every last bit of flavour...never seen a horse do it before)
Daisy (now sold):
If you poked/pushed her to move over, she would ALWAYS move towards the pressure. Unless you shouted at her. I'm sure she just did it to be funny.
If you gave her a bucket of water, she would tip it all over the yard.
She never wanted to go back out in the field, and would stand by the gate looking sad and making me feel bad.
She would scrape the ground for attention. And she KNEW it was naughty.
What I do like:
She would follow me round the field without any feed or leadrope.
Whe you were grooming her, she would reach round and gently snuffle you back.
If you left a brush on the floor, she would chew it, and then pick it up and brush the wall with it.
Whe you were on her and stood still, she would stretch round and snuffle your toes, before looking at you as if to say 'whatcha doin up there mum?'
