Pony Club anyone?

I'm 16, and I am from B.C, Canada.
My friend who is .. 19? Did pony club and she said it was a great program around here. Not one of those richie programs more just a bunch of people getting together and having fun and learning about horses and such. I don't want to do 4-H, because isn't that not just horses? I heard it was like.. Western horse stuff and then also all about farm animals and everything.

I was just giving it a think about because all my friends keep their horses either at their house or almost every single one of my friends is at a different barn. Thought it might be fun, I know for a fact that the two instructors that they have are horse woman who are quallified but they just do it for fun? My friends mom is one of those people, she has been riding and taking courses for like 25 years now!

Yes, 4 H does do western, but they have a lot of english now too (always have, but they have more now). I know a lot of people who go to fair and only show english.
Yes, 4 H does have other farm animals and such, but everything is seperated by barns and the horses have a HUGE section to themselves. Our county fair has a giant show arena and a pretty big warm up arena. At state they have multiple arenas.
