Portrait Ideas Needed

I will be getting some pictures of me and my horse taken together by a friend who is really, really awesome at taking pictures, and who has a really nice camera. :)

I need ideas!

I ride english, so I would like it to stay within that theme...
My horse could be done up in hunter braids, or I could leave his mane loose but nicely pulled and pretty. Either way he will be trimmed up.

I don't know what I should wear though.

Should I go all out, everything show clothes?

Or do I wear my wicked plaid full seat breeches and a nice polo?

I'm not really wanting to take any mounted pictures, by the way, but if someone has a really good idea I could hop on bareback. My saddle is just absolutely ugly as sin and I don't want to showcase it.

Also, my hair is very, very long. About two inches past the top of my thighs. I could do it up in a bun, but I think I would like to leave it out.

And just because... here's a recent picture of the fat boy!

Hmmmm...if your hair is really long and you want it out I'd probably leave his mane long but really well-brushed (and perhaps plait wet, leave to dry and unplait, to allow it to get nice and crimped), and wear a plain polo that matches well with your plaid breeches (can you provide a photo of them, btw?). Otherwise, a neat (perhaps netted) bun for you and hunter braids for him, with show clothes.

His mane is already pulled for braiding- I usually have it that way. So I would have the option of having it loose, but not long.
I will get a picture up of my breeches options in a few days- and also the other outfits I have to choose from.

I'm also wondering what kind of setting you guys think I should do? I can have anywhere from a pasture to an arena (with or without jumps) to a small barn/shedrow thing (pictured in my last post, that my horse is in). What do you think? Theoretically, I could also arrange to have him in a pumpkin patch :)

We aren't taking pictures for a couple weeks, so I have plenty of time to switch things up if I need to.

Any and all ideas welcome.
