When you find out Shaggy, can you let us know what you find out? She is a very pretty girl, love her ears! Looking at her shoulder, if it isn't a soft tissue injury, could it be what is called a sweeney shoulder?

Arthur Veterinary Clinic: Sweeney in Horses

Glad you found her, if it were me, I would of put a small trough or something she could get water out of, she needs some groceries for sure but hopefully you will find something out. Have you called the local animal control or vet offices that deal with large animals? Sheriff's office? Ask if anyone has lost a young grey mare.

Sorry for the scare! She's diffantly a mare or filly? Not even sure how old she is or what breed for that matter lol

If your BOs sold the property, they would know who they sold it to - one way to find out! And yes, meantime, I wouldn't hesitate to call animal control, and continue calling with your concern every day until they make it out...stay on top of it, and be her voice :)

If I wasn't so far away, and it was possible, I'd take this sweet, precious girl in an instant :(

Sure I'll defiantly keep guys updated! I know arent her ears the cutest! Sweeny Shoulder sounds interesting don't know if that's it or not. You read my mind about the trough. Would I get in trouble for that?

Let's just hope that after authorities are contacted, someone will be able to give her a home - if you can't, that's ok. By making a stand on her behalf you'll have done more for her than most ever had :)

Be careful putting a trough in there-since if you do, you are then providing water, and the authorities have no grounds to do anything.

Excellent point! Just had a thought, however....what if you placed a trough/water bucket on your side, but ever so conveniently accessible for her to reach and drink? :) The very best of luck with this, and Godspeed - she looks like she needs proper care yesterday.
