I do agree it's good to get right back on him like nothing's changed! It shouldn't hurt him, he may be very alert and a bit scared from moving, and the new environment so I'd be prepared. I rode my boy bareback the day he came home to barn and first day back from thirty days. I was so nervous but he went like a champ! Bareback (with helmet), on a green two year old in a new barn, first real ride for me on him, that sounds horrible but it went great!

SO happy for you! You've got me smiling too and missing my boy who I just saw last night :P

I've only been home 2 hours and I'm ready to go back to play with him! It made me so sad, as I was pulling out the driveway he just looked up and stared as I drove away...I was all NOOOOOOO!!!

Yep, just as I suspected! You're a hair away from looking at barn plans for bringing him home already! Ha Ha! I was sooo bad when I got my first horse (Star). I tweeked my entire schedule around being able to go and see her every single day while she was boarded (6 weeks), and still had big baby tears in my eyes at night because I was already missing her. Oh what my poor husband had to put up with! (He was actually very sweet about it) I think he was just as anxious to get that barn built as I was, and have a 'tear free' wife again! :)

I'd love to have him here! But we're about an acre off of being able to have horses! Though there's a giant 10 acre lot a minute down the road....hmmm ;)

There's a baseball field owned by a church right next to my house that is almost never used. I've always thought my horse would be super happy grazing and running around there
